Designing our own comic books! Ms. Coen’s fourth class have been busy learning about how comic books are made. Once we learned about the steps involved in making a comic book we decided to create our own! First, children worked in groups to write the script for their comic book. Each group then had a lot of drawing to do! To begin, the children did the outlines of the drawings – we learned that this is called pencilling. When each group was happy with their drawings they coloured them in – this process is called inking. We learned that nowadays most comics are made using a computer but we definitely enjoyed making our comics the old fashioned way! Well done, 4th class. Can't wait to read these!!!
