As everyone is aware, the entire country was placed under level 5 restrictions since 12 midnight on Wednesday the 14th of October. These restrictions are scheduled to last for 5 weeks. As all church ceremonies are to be held remotely during level 5 restrictions, the First Holy Communion ceremony scheduled for the 7th of November is indefinitely postponed. The parish will make arrangements to celebrate at a later date not yet confirmed.
With cases rising and the country about to enter into stage 5 restrictions, we feel that it is important that parents are supplied with the most up to date advise from the HSE should you be informed that your child is a close contact of a confirmed case. As always, we are taking great care to ensure that the school remains a safe and controlled environment and we thank you for your co-operation and assistance with this. Please click on the advice from the HSE.

We have been informed by the diocese that the Confirmation Ceremony originally scheduled for the 22nd of October has been indefinitely postponed due to the restrictions necessary for the Level 3 Covid-19 national response. As soon as we are made aware of a new date, we will pass the information on to all parents and children affected. In the meantime, the preparation materials remain available online. https://www.clonfertdiocese.ie/
