Parents Association Newsletter Dec 2021
The Parents association would like to take this opportunity to wish Mr. Lohan the very best in his retirement from Creagh N.S. after his many years of service in the school and all he did in recent years as Acting Principal
We would also like to congratulate Ms. Bleahene on her recent appointment to school principal and look forward to what she has planned for the future of the school.
The newly elected Parents association committee would like to thank the outgoing committee for all their work and dedication over the past 3 years especially during the testing times of covid. Their hard work and dedication didn’t go unnoticed especially with assisting the school on a safe return after lockdowns.
Parking:
Could parents/guardians dropping and collecting children to and from school please be mindful of children crossing the roads and for other vehicles moving around the general area of the school. Where possible park in alternate areas and walk the last part to the school to ease the congestion around the school making it safer for all. Once children are in lines and supervised by teachers, please depart the area, and not congregate.
Fundraisers:
We are hoping to run various fundraisers in 2022 to support the school with up coming projects.
If anybody has outgrown christmas jumpers, fancy dress costumes, jerseys, and uniforms (must be in very good condition) from their children and would like to donate them we will be collecting these in the new year as part of a fundraiser.
We will send out more information for each fundraiser closer to the time.
Contacting the Parents Assosiation
Should you wish to submit any suggestions, offer assistance for any of the fundraisers/activities or become part of Parents association (everybody very welcome to join and give as little or as much help as they can)
We can now be contacted on [email protected]
We will also be posting information on the school website regularly and will be looking into other forms of communication options available to us.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a wonderful christmas and a happy, healthy New year for 2022.
