We have been busy preparing to re-open the school for our Junior Infants/ Senior Infants/ First and Second Classes. We have made adjustments to our procedures in line with recent guidelines and we are ready now to welcome the children back on Monday. As described in the letter sent out today by Dr. Gylnn to all parents and guardians, if we are to stay open we will need your continued help and support. Please click on the image to read the letter.

Many thanks to all those parents who have already filled in the Parental Declaration Form. These will have to be completed by parents after every absence. This is to ensure that we will be able to stay open, and we are positive that parents, children and staff all share this objective.  If you have not yet completed it, please do so now at this link.

Parents will receive updated information directly from Creagh NS via text and the Creagh NS website.  In order for the reopening to be successful, we as parents must all play our part in following the guidelines set out by the department of education.

  •    Avoid congregating around the school gate
  •   If your child is unwell please keep them at home and adhere to the public heath guidelines in place at this time
  •  The school staff and covid response team are working very hard to ensure the school is ready for Monday. We very much appreciate their work as this time.

Wecome Back, Everyone!

Hopefully everyone has enjoyed a well deserved break over the past week and we are all ready to start engaging via Seesaw again this week.
There has been a lot of media reporting regarding a partial re-opening of primary schools in early March. We are expecting that an official announcement will be made on Tuesday. As soon as we are given guidelines from the Department on how the school will safely re-open, we will begin to make arrangements and will let all parents/children know as soon as possible. In the meantime, please continue to engage online.

Well Done, Erin!

Congratulations to 11 year old Erin Arru from Mr Dolan's 5th class who has used her considerable artistic ability to create this wonderfully up-lifting design for the recent An Post 'Send Love' competition.
It comes as no surprise to us that Erin has won a year supply of stamps as well as the honour of her design featuring on a local postbox. We look forward to seeing it!
Well done, Erin! Keep those creative juices flowing.

Well done to all our pupils for their excellent  engagement with their teachers on Seesaw and Zoom over the past number of weeks. We are all very proud of your enthusiasm, good humour, hard work and energy. This is the last week of remote learning before a well earned week off for the mid-term break. Some of the things to look forward to this week include Internet Safety Day on Tuesday and the Jerusalema Dance Challenge that some classes are involved with.  If you are having difficulties with  any aspect of remote learning, please contact the school on 0909642634 or email creaghnsonline@gmail.com or principal.creaghns@gmail.com and we will get you connected.
