To the school community of S.N. Muire Gan Smál: Creagh N.S. The 2021-2022 school year will be remembered for lots of landmarks and milestones. It was the year that playgrounds were segregated, meetings were held remotely, children were asked to wear masks and everyone finally got Covid. It was also a year of tremendous educational innovation, a year that we placed a huge emphasis back on relationships and communication and the year that we also started to regain all the freedoms that had been curtailed due to an un-precedented pandemic. In Creagh National School, we have the fine privilege of a combination consisting of hard working pupils, dedicated staff and a collaborative/co-operative parent body. It is this spirit of united effort and shared vision that has allowed us to navigate our way so successfully through these challenging times. I would like to take this opportunity to thank most sincerely all those who have worked so hard over the past year. It is because of these massive efforts that the Children in Creagh National School are benefitting from exceptional teaching and learning experiences, supported 100% by their families and the wider community. Every vital part of the operation, from the Board of Management, to the In-School Management Team; the Parent's Association to the Student council are motivated by the common purpose of finding and delivering the best possible outcomes for our student body. Ms Conway and Ms Dolan are taking a break away from us next year. We wish them well and hope to have them back here with us again soon. I am privileged to be in the position of leading this fine school for the next academic year and look forward to your continuing support. Best wishes to our sixth class who graduated on Wednesday the 29th. They leave us prepared and ready for the next step on their journey. Have a terrific summer, everyone. See you all again on September the 1st. Kind Regards, Áine NÍ Cholleráin Bleahene (Acting Principal) Board of Management End of Year Report
