Greenhouse Gardeners: An Article by Aoife GodeOctober 2021 Early on Thursday morning we went outside with our buckets and spades. First teacher told us what to do, we were preparing the floor of the polytunnel. The polytunnel was in the school grounds beside the pitch. We were out there because we wanted to learn more about plants, nature and the environment. Then we filled our buckets with soil, after that we emptied them onto the floor. Meanwhile teacher was going around taking pictures of us, at work. Soon afterwards we levelled the floor with a rake. Next we went inside washed our hands. We enjoyed our lunch and loved doing it because we got into nature more. Some photos of 3rd class gardening in our new PolytunnelWe would like to express a special thanks to Creggstone who have donated 1000 euro to our polytunnel. It will go to great use!!
