Information for back to school: September 1st 2021

We are looking forward to welcoming back all our staff and pupils on September 1st.

The gates will open for 1st - 6th class pupils at 9:10am.
Infant classes will be admitted on school grounds from 9:20 am.
Please do not arrive early and please avoid congregating.
Please fill in a parental declaration form for your children before they return to school on September the 1st.

Know the Symptoms of COVID-19
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 it is important to know and recognise the symptoms of coronavirus (which includes the DELTA variant).
Common symptoms of coronavirus include:

a fever (high temperature - 38 degrees Celsius or above).
a new cough - this can be any kind of cough, not just dry.
shortness of breath or breathing difficulties.
loss or change in your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
Fatigue
Aches and Pains
Other uncommon symptoms of coronavirus include:
·         sore throat
·         headaches
·         runny or stuffy noses
·         feeling sick or vomiting
·         diarrhoea

Please do not send your child to school if they display any of these symptoms Children who develop/ exhibit these symptoms at school will be sent home and the procedures in the response plan will apply. It is usually advised that you contact your local GP for advice.
