With Wellbeing as our primary focus this year, we have been creating Friendship Hubs and Wellbeing Spaces inside the school building and on the school grounds. We are also in the process of creating a 'Forest Cave', Fairy Garden, outdoor planting area and a new hedgerow. The polytunnel is now timetabled for use by classes and plans are in place to create additional friendship spaces around the school. A huge thanks to our caretaker Eddie Brady, Ms. Laura Gallagher and Mrs. Caroline Gallagher who have been putting in such tremendous efforts over the past while in creating such a wonderful selection of restful/creative spaces inside and outside the school. All of these measures and initiatives have the potential to really enhance wellbeing for all members of our school community and are only possible because of the generosity, creativity and hard work of those members of staff who have committed to these projects so willingly. A most sincere thank you to all concerned. Many thanks also to parents and teachers whose fundraising efforts have enabled us to do these things. These are just some photos from indoor shared areas. Stay tuned for more updates and images from classrooms, the polytunnel and outdoor spaces!
