The airwaves are saturated with information about Covid 19 and sometimes this information can be difficult for children to process. This is a great video animation, produced in Ireland, that delivers the key information in a child friendly and appropriate manner.

As a school we are supporting the Flags for Frontline campaign.
This campaign is supported by the INTO and proposes that all children who have a flag in their national, county or club colours, or whatever team they follow across any code, would hang that flag from their gate posts, windows, or wherever they would normally place a flag when supporting their county club or team ahead of an important match. If you don’t have a flag, children could be encouraged to create a flag on a sheet of paper or cardboard, or by doing some sewing. Be creative! Joe has hung a variety of flags outside the school (There is even a Mayo flag flying!!!). Hopefully this will help create a notion of co-operation and solidarity.... something that the whole school is doing! So lets get busy!! Lets do this together!! Lets show our school spirit!! Lets support all those people working on the frontline! |
