Daily Tutorials
Mindful MondayIn the first activity tutorial of Well-Being at Home Week, Mrs. McCann challenges us to spread a little kindness and thoughtfulness in our neighbourhoods. She asks us to think particularly of those older and more vulnerable people in the community who are only able to take brief walks. Mrs McCann has three great ways that we can brighten up the days of these precious people.

Try It Tuesday Creagh National School have been taking part in the Friends Programme for the past number of years. One of our favourite activities from the Fun Friends sessions is The Pizza Massage. In this short tutorial, Mrs Bleahene will take you through the massage step by step. Try it!! It's a great way to relax and fun too!!
Thanks to Mrs Bleahene for sharing this terrific activity with us. |
Wellness WednesdayGuided meditations are a really terrific way to relax. Get yourself comfortable and allow Miss O' Rourke to lead you through a visualisation activity where you will imagine yourself in your favourite place.
Thanks so much to Miss O' Rourke for creating and sharing this gentle calming meditation with us! You will definitely feel more relaxed afterwards |
Thoughtful Thursday
The first of our two presentations for Thursday is from Miss Lohan who reads 'Have you filled a Bucket today?' by Carol McCloud for us. This story reminds us that we can 'fill our buckets' by making other people happy! How will you be a 'bucket filler' today?
|
In our Second Presentation, Miss Gallagher shows us a simple yoga movement that can help us to relax and re-centre ourselves when we are feeling anxious or upset. This would be a great thing to practice so that you will be able to use it when you need it!
