We regret to inform you that due to the recent ban on indoor summer camps by the government, we have to cancel this year's Camp Cairdeas which was scheduled to begin on Monday, July 26th.

The lack of indoor facilities severely impacts upon our access and egress plans for the children in the morning and afternoon and also creates huge difficulties in ensuring that each grouping remains a distinct and separate bubble, thereby compromising the health and safety of the children and camp instructors.
Given the fact that more than half of the camp's activities were also due to be indoors, we feel that we have no choice but to take this course of action.
Having planned and prepared for weeks, we share the children's disappointment at the cancellation of the camp but hope that everyone understands that all our health and wellbeing must take priority when arranging any public gatherings in these times. We apologise for the relatively late notice but the government's decision only came to light in recent days and took us all by surprise.
We will obviously be offering a full refund to everyone who has paid the camp booking fee. We will be at Creagh NS to return your money from 8.30am to 11am on Monday 26th of July. We will be located just outside the office at the main entrance. If you are unable to collect your money on this date, we will ensure that the money is returned to your child when the children return to school in September. If your child has just finished 6th Class and you cannot collect your money on Monday the 26th, we will make alternative arrangements to return the money to you in September.
